Post-Release update


Okay okay, the first release was not set in stone and I wanted do tackle some of the major issues that came along the quick and dirty version. With this update, most glaring bugs have been fixed and a lot of quality of life improvements have been added. So, let's run them down:

  • All menus are now controllable with the mouse.
  • There is a main menu now.
  • You can play the arcades only with the arcade mode which you find in the main menu. This is completely disconnected from the main game, the highscores are shared though!
  • The big bug has been fixed where sometimes drops from the arcades were not counted correctly and stayed forever.
  • Fixed the bug that lead to immediate loss when playing a second round on the same arcade in some circumstances.
  • Improved state management. Your progress is now saved in full. This means player as well as crate positions. When you continue playing, you should be able to continue where you left off.
  • You can reset that state by playing a new game from the main menu. Beware. There is no prompt.
  • Added distinct arcade assets for each of the three arcades
  • Renamed the arcades and some other labels to make more sense.
  • Fixed some graphical sprite issues.
  • Fixed some layering issues when entering menus.
  • Some other minor things that don't need explicit mention as they are barely visible either way.
